Hello everyone,

I own fireworks, but unfortunatly not photoshop. I was wondering what the differences between fireworks and photoshop are. And what are some things you can do in photoshop that are easily replicated in fireworks? This would be great information to me, as I do not have the cash right now to buy another design program which I wouldn't essentially need in the first place. Thank-you.

Hi Garrett,
1.) I appreciate your forebearance on not just stealing (pirating - illegally copying) Photoshop - though it would be so easy.
2.) If you don't get a lot of responses, go ahead and download the trial version of Photoshop CS3 off of the Adobe website (www.adobe.com).
3.) Photoshop has many similar features: cropping, color correction, etc, and lately, support for vector artwork. Take advantage of the special textures/fills/patterns that you can get in Fireworks, because you won't see those in Photoshop.
