Hello everyone,

I am working on a table, and can get half of the look I want by using cell padding.  This makes the left-to-right alignment perfect, but as cell padding does it also increases the up-and-down space in each table field.

Is there a way to add more padding to a table cell that only affects the horizontal alignment of the cell/field?

The only other thing I can think of is adding spaces.

thanks,

phil

I'd use CSS and not use cellpadding. You can set padding on top/bottom/left/right independently of eachother. http://www.w3schools.com/css/css_padding.asp for more info on that.
