Web Accessibility. Web Standards and Regulatory Compliance

This book is full of information, and even if you design a small website, you should know the information contained within this book. There is a lot to take in, so this isn't a quick read, and even after you read the book, you won't be an expert, but you will be well informed. It goes into the history and what accessibility used to mean, right up to the present. There are several authors to this book, 11 of them to be exact, and each of them specializes in at least one part of Accessability and Web Standards. Part of the reason that a lot of them are such experts in the field is because it has effected them personally, or a close family member or friend.

One complaint that I have about the book is that, it's a book on Accessibility, and yet the text is very small, and since I have vision that is not the greatest as a result of Multiple Sclerosis, if I were making the book, I would have larger print. This was overlooked and should not have been with all of the experts that contributed to it. Obviously, they are experts in Web Accessibility, but not necessarily Print Accessibility. This is part of the reason that it took me so long to read the book.

Other than this one small complaint, this is another must have book for any web designer out there.
